The QIDP is responsible for assessing, monitoring, documenting and ensuring the provision of quality care to people with disabilities and special needs in a residential setting for 24 hour care.
Other areas of responsibilities include:
- Physical environment is satisfactory - Person-centered care - Be a leader to a team of Direct Support Professionals - Assessment/observation/reporting - Ensuring safety of all individuals This is a full-time position.
Hours are mainly weekdays, including rotation of on call responsibilities.
Flexibility needed to be able to cover DSP shifts as needed.
Education & Skills:
Must have at least one year of experience working directly with individuals with a developmental disability.
In addition, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Special Education, Psychology, or other closely related human services field, or be a licensed Registered Nurse.
