JOB SUMMARY Commercial Transport is seeking a full-time Office Manager.
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the general administrative functions and activities of the office.
This person must have the ability to manage both short term and long-term projects.
Computer skills are a must.
JOB DUTIES Supervise staff in the daily operations of the department; prepare and implement departmental procedures; train new employees; prepare performance standards and reviews.
Supervise the processing of the weekly payroll for the company.
Maintain and manage the short term and long-term office projects; prepare financial A/R reports for review; process invoices; manage accounting systems and reconcile bank accounts; prepare statistical and financial reports.
Manage requests and/or needs from our customers.
Compile data for reports; compose routine correspondence; transcribe information; maintain vacation eligibility calendar and confidential files.
Maintain and manage the primary and supplemental insurances.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, and office automation practices Interpersonal/human relations skills Written and verbal communication skills Familiarity and ability to Multitask with management and office personnel Report preparation skills Ability to supervise and delegate.
Ability to organize work efficiently and effectively.
Ability to work under pressure and attend to details.
Ability to operate personal computer and various software packages.
Ability to instruct and train in methods and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree; supplemented with two (2) years of bookkeeping and administrative/office experience.
You must be comfortable working on a computer and utilizing basic Microsoft Office applications, perform general office task, and excel at both verbal and written communication.
Candidates with experience with TMW, TMT and Great Plains operating systems will be highly considered.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
