Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of property management, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Market available units to prospective tenants and handle the leasing process.
- Conduct thorough background checks on potential tenants and ensure all lease agreements are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Implement strategies to maximize occupancy rates and rental income.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
- Enforce lease terms and address any violations or disputes that may arise.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for property owners or management company.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management or related field required.
- Knowledge of Rent Manager or similar property management software is a plus.
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective tenant relations.
- Familiarity with legal administrative procedures related to property management.
- Basic understanding of property maintenance practices and ability to coordinate repairs.
- Conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes or difficult situations.
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Understanding of real estate administrative processes, including lease agreements and contracts.
