What We Are Searching For:
We are looking for a professional who can work independently in a hospital setting located in the hospitalist division at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL. If you have prior hospital or medical office experience, are resourceful, organized and have a can do attitude, we have the job for you!
As Site Coordinator for the hospitalist division, you will primarily support the hospitalist Medical Director and hospitalist physicians. In addition to having superb communication skills, a mature grasp of organizational hierarchy, and the ability to prioritize tasks and projects, you should also know when to act independently and when to ask for guidance and/or assistance.
This job is vital to the success of our client's hospitalist practice and demands flexibility, a customer-focus, organization and a knack for details.
Here's How You Would Support Our Hospitalist Client:
Provide administrative support to the Hospitalist Medical Director and hospitalist physicians.
Act as the hospital liaison for the hospitalist division.
Provide billing with required documentation.
Perform other administrative tasks as requested.
Coordinate answering services; distribute schedule and changes to the hospital units and departments.
Be involved and actively participate in hospital transition of care programs.
Key Competencies and Qualifications:

College graduate preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing.
Self-directed, motivated, and sensitive to deadlines.
Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills. Able to create positive environment, clearly understand client / customer relationships, and promotes positive image.

2-5 years of related experience preferred.
Ability to prioritize, work in stress environment.
Previous healthcare and medical terminology experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
